The marchmello points system is simple to earn, fair to convert, and rewarding to spend. Here's exactly how it works.

£1 spent = 1 point
Every pound you spend earns one point at that venue, credited when your order is served. Points are tracked per venue, so your wallet shows a balance for every place you've ordered from.

To use points or a voucher at the till, staff also ask for the 4-digit PIN on the same card. It changes every 5 minutes and works once.

Converting
Move points between venues
This is what makes marchmello different: points earned at one venue can be converted to spend at any other venue in the network. A small conversion fee applies — it starts at 10% and rises gently with the amount, capped at 18%.
Every venue on marchmello agreed to shared loyalty when it registered, so points you convert to a venue spend there just like points earned there. See the terms

Turn points into real rewards
Venues publish their own loyalty deals — a headline special, discount vouchers you can claim whenever you have the points, and a members-only deal for marchmello+ subscribers. Redeem one and it becomes a voucher in your Vouchers section, ready to apply at checkout whenever you like.

Some venues sell reward cards for points. Buy one and it sits in your wallet until you want it — the terms are locked in the moment you buy, so the venue changing its mind later can't change your card.

FAQ
Points questions, answered
When do I get my points?
Points are credited as soon as your order is marked served by the venue. You'll see them appear in that venue's balance in your Points wallet.
Can I earn points when I order at the counter?
Yes, at venues that use the marchmello till. Give staff the MELLO code from your Points tab and the points land when your order is served. To spend points or use a voucher there, staff also ask for your till PIN — a 4-digit number on the same card that changes every 5 minutes and works once.
Do I earn points on pennies?
Yes — points mirror your spend exactly. Spend £12.50 and you earn 12.50 points.
Will a venue accept points I converted from somewhere else?
Yes. Every venue agrees to shared loyalty when it registers on marchmello, so points you convert to a venue count exactly like points you earned there. Spend them on its deals, vouchers, reward cards and points prices.
Why is there a conversion fee?
Points go furthest at the venue that gave them to you, which keeps things fair for that venue. The fee starts at 10% and never goes above 18%, and nobody is paid it: the points are simply not credited. marchmello+ members convert for free.
Where do my vouchers live?
Redeemed vouchers are saved in the Vouchers section of your profile. Apply one at checkout whenever you're ready to use it.
What's the difference between a voucher and a reward card?
A voucher takes a percentage off one order. A reward card is a deal you keep — buy one get one free, or spend £25 and get a free item — and it stays in your wallet until you use it or it expires.
How do stamp cards work?
At venues that run one, every item on the card you pay for earns a stamp once your order is served. When the card's full — say six coffees — your next one's free: claim it from the venue's page and it costs nothing at checkout. One free item per order. If the venue changes its card, free items you've already earned are kept, and a card you've already started never gets harder to fill — if it asks for more stamps, you finish yours on the old number.
Do stamp cards use my points?
No — they run alongside points. You still earn points on everything you pay for, and claiming your free item doesn't spend any.
Can I use a voucher and a reward card together?
Yes — a voucher and a reward card work on the same order, and cards are limited to one per order. The exception is a venue's Spending Reward: it's used on its own, so not with a voucher, a reward card or points prices — a stamp card's free item is fine. You can switch between them in your cart before you pay.
How does a Spending Reward work?
Some venues reward regulars for what they spend: reach their target within 30 days — say £30 — and you get a percentage off one order. Each order counts once it's served, for what you paid (not delivery or service fees). The venue's page shows how close you are; when it's ready, apply it in your cart before the time shown. Using it starts your spend again from £0, and the order you use it on doesn't count toward the next one.
